The NorthFASD Coalition of Thompson, Manitoba celebrated FASD Awareness Day by participating in a Community Health and Leisure Mart, with the goal of spreading awareness about FASD to the public through conversation.
Coalition members, sporting NorthFASD Coalition T-shirts handed out brochures, balloons, pens and some yummy FASD cookies, each with a special message about FASD. They also took the opportunity to promote their new social media platform through the Northern Region Facebook and Twitter pages. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and joined the conversation!
