Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. via Microsoft TEAMS

Myles will share his personal experiences living with FASD, including how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted him, and encourage young people to recognize their strengths and successes.

This presentation is intended for youth in grades 7-12 and young adults up to 21 years old, who have a confirmed diagnosis of FASD and have been informed of their diagnosis, along with a caregiver or support person.

The Interlake Sexual Exploitation Educators (ISEE) committee would like to acknowledge Stop Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Week by providing a FREE virtual presentation to parents & caregivers. The one-hour session will explore the various ways that children & teens can be exploited virtually. Parents learn the dangers of popular social media and how it can put kids at risk for sexual exploitation and affect their mental health. By providing information and strategies, we hope to empower caregivers to help keep kids safe. Awareness is key!
